I strongly believe that suffering is a part of the Christian experience. Our savior suffered and died on the cross, enduring all kinds of pain and suffering to save us from our sins. As a result, when we go through suffering it just gives us an opportunity to get closer to God who then as we learn to trust him, directs our paths. I believe suffering is one of the many paths to strenghten our spiritual beliefs.
